Lake Moodemere Estate is an industry leader in the environmental space. Both the wine business and wine products are Carbon Neutral Certified for 2024/25. We are North East Victoria’s first Carbon Neutral business, and one of six Carbon Neutral wine businesses in Australia. Lake Moodemere Estate became North East Victoria’s first Sustainably Certified vineyard in August 2021. We’re focused on the implementation of sustainable practices to increase biodiversity, insect life, reduce water usage and energy use, increase carbon sequestration in the soil, and eliminate pesticide, herbicide and synthetic fertiliser.

All our wines are made exclusively with estate grown fruit from our single vineyard, where vines have grown since 1886.  Our vineyard, positioned on the bank of Lake Moodemere, part of the Murray River system, has a terroir unlike any other.  The result is wine of distinct character displaying bold varietal fruit and soft, luxurious tannins. All our wines are Carbon Neutral and Sustainably Certified and produced with minimal intervention.
